So I confess that posting this was mostly an excuse to try the new Youtube plugin that Terry Miller helped me install the other day. Hopefully more heady material will follow in the days and months to come. Nonetheless as the footage below can attest, our Toyota Prius — which we originally bought post-Katrina because $4 gasoline and 1 hour round trips for school drop-off and pickup made it seem like a wise choice — is also good for short distance alpaca transport. In this case taking the one and only Booger (has a single pet quality male ever gotten this much press here?) to his new home down Rt. 131 where he will no doubt be adored and spoiled rotten. Jen wanted me to make it clear that she only shot this footage between the Main Barn and our mailbox, all here on the farm. At least she wasn’t texting? Hmm… Follow me on Twitter @CCNFalpacas

Now I wonder if Alan would allow an alpaca in his Prius. He goes crazy if he has to pick up a pizza and smells up the car…..!!!!
Yeah, I don’t think Alan would probably like the smell of any of OUR cars. We are of course oblivious to it until some of our kids’ friends get in and ask what the heck THAT smell is!
