CCNF Females at the 2020 Amber Autumn Auction!
After years of calendar conflicts with our then school-aged sons’ February breaks, we are thrilled to be consigning animals for the first time ever at the upcoming Amber Autumn Auction, to be held next month, February 21 & 22, in warm and sunny Phoenix, AZ! We of course wanted to make a bit of a splash and so have decided to offer two females with related but distinct genetic backgrounds:
CCNF Mariana at Lot #16 is a Dreadnought (CCNF Prima Majesty x CCNF Elixir) daughter out of the same maternal line that has it’s domestic origins with it’s imported black matriarch, 5Peruvian Ajoyani. 5Peruvian Redhot (a founding Herdsire in the North American Alpaca Stud) and Snowmass Midnight Magic were both 5P Ajoyani’s sons, as is Mariana’s dam, AG Royal Margarita. Mix in a little Hemingway and other goodness via her maternal grandsire, CCNF Royal Ring of Fire (5Peruvian Margarita x Snowmass Royal Rose), and she makes for quite the interesting package.
Meanwhile, CCNF Mhari at Lot #41 has the special distinction of being the full sister of none other than 3x Futurity Herdsire of the Year, CCNF Elixir! The maternal daughter of our superdam, Ascension (5Peruvian Cangalli x CCNF Archangel), Mhari represents one of the first Snowmass Elite Legend daughters to have been born here since his return to our breeding program several years ago, and really one of the rare EL daughters we have ever let go. It’s frankly the luxury brought on by a breeding program littered with her older brother’s offspring. That said, we don’t sell her lightly. Both females will of course be sold with full reproductive guarantees and future breedings in the spring/summer of 2020, by which time they will be of age. Though the buyers will have their choice of any Herdsire we own (or co own), were we making the call, we would choose Irish Meadows Elite Max for Mariana and breed Mhari with either the son of our other rockstar Archangel daughter, Pristine (PPPeruvian Prestige x CCNF Archangel): CCNF Priam – the 2019 White Futurity Champion, or one could slum with his world-famous sire, Snowmass Matrix Majesty. You know, just him. Anyway, there’s options.
