New Herdsire Listings for 2019!
We have just updated our Herdsire listings for the upcoming breeding season! Granted, several of these listings are somewhat aspirational in nature as the boys in question — Declan, Idris, Magnar, Priam, Privateer, Snow King, and Sovereign-Legacy — have yet to even do the deed, so to speak, to say nothing of already having a confirmed live pregnancy. So in those cases, we have some Barry White music to play and recorded orgles to use work to do before they can be actively offered for outside stud service. Others though, like the soon to arrive Irish Meadows’ Elite Max, are already proven breeders (at least in the live pregnancy sense) and will hit the ground running.
At the very least, the listings will give you some notion of where we’re heading strategically and who we’re excited about at the moment. It’s certainly been a while since we have had 3 males from the same birth class here be retained/drafted into the breeding program just as they turn 2. Might actually have to go way back to the famous and paradigm-changing birth class of ’03 to find a comparison (hint: they were all Legacy Gold sons). It’s like the first day of baseball season before a single pitch has been thrown: everyone is in 1st place and a potential rock-star because no one has sired a blue-eyed pinto…yet. đŸ˜‰ Anyway, check ’em out!
